Manjaca Mountain
Manjaca Mountain is located south of Banja Luka and it stretches between the Vrbas River in the east and the Sana River in the west. Its highest peak is Velika Manjaca (1236 m above sea level).
It stands out with vast forest complexes, meadows and pastures and mountain streams.
The famous Serbian writer Petar Kocic was born on Manjaca and every year in August an event is held in his honour, “Kocicev zbor” which brings together many authors.
For all lovers of sports and recreational activities and pristine nature hiking and cycling trails are marked.
