Cultural Center Banski Dvor
When, in 1929, the Vrbaska Banovina was formed and Svetislav Tisa Milosavljevic was appointed as the first Ban, there was a need for the construction of a representative building for the Banovina administration and Banski Dvor (Ban’s palace). Works on Banski Dvor started in March 1931 and the official opening of the building was on 8th November 1932.
Today, these building house the City Administration and the Administrative Office of the President of the Republic of Srpska as well as the Cultural Center Banski Dvor, which preserves he original purpose of these elegant Banja Luka buildings.
