Marija Zvijezda
Visitors who first enter the abbey’s church in Marija Zvijezda from 1926 are left speechless at first. This immense space and soft colors, this unusual art embodiment is something they certainly did not expect. Actually, this church, which is a parish church for 30 years, has no equal in the entire Bosnia and Herzegovina. No matter how many times you come to this church, you can always discover something new. A visit to the Marija Zvijezda convent is included in the city sightseeing programme and in this way you can get to know the work of the Trappists and visit a permanent exhibition of photography “130 years of Trappists”.
