Kozarska Dubica
A small town on the banks of the beautiful Una River, on the slopes of the legendary Kozara Mountain in northwestern Republic of Srpska, which charms its visitors every day with interesting buildings of the twentieth century and modern architecture of the twenty-first century.
Visitors should definitely not miss the church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, the memorial church of Saint Petka monastery, the Mostanica Monastery, situated at the foot of Kozara about 12 km from the centre of town, which, by its persistence through the ages, represents the foundation of religious, cultural and spiritual values.
If you want to find out more about life in the past, visit the the ethno-household Knezica, where the memory of ancient times is preserved and it is represented through a rural household near the church.
Open air museum – the memorial area of Donja Gradina is a monument to the victims of Nazi crimes committed during the period from 1941 to 1945.
