Pelagićevo
Pelagićevo municipality is situated in the northeastern part of Republic of Srpska in flat and fertile Posavina, and was formed after the signing of the Dayton Agreement.
Although small in area and relatively young, Pelagićevo has significant tourism potential, which complement the tourist offer of this area.
Natural and anthropogenic values have created the opportunity to develop tourism in this part of Republic of Srpska. The types of tourism with the greatest potential are: hunting, fishing, religious and recreational tourism.
One of the greatest gems of Pelagićevo is Jezero (Lake) located in the northern part of municipality. This attractive destination is a paradise for lovers of sport fishing and recreation in nature. The lake abounds with many species of fish, especially carp. During the year, a series of sport fishing competitions at national as well as international level are organised at the lake.
