Low-cost carrier Ryanair has announced the launch of its fourth service to Banja Luka, just over a month since introducing flights to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s second largest city. The no-frills carrier will commence two weekly operations between the two from April 2019, complementing its existing services from Charleroi, Memmingen and Stockholm Skavsta. “Ryanair is delighted to announce its first summer schedule to Banja Luka for 2019 with four routes, including Berlin as a new addition from April, which will secure over 135.000 passengers for Banja Luka Airport”, the company said. It added, “Ryanair is also happy to celebrate handling its 10.000th passenger in Bosnia and Herzegovina since launching flights to the country in October of this year”. Tickets for the new route will go on sale shortly. Banja Luka Airport recently noted it was in talks with the low-cost airline over the introduction of flights from Vienna or Bratislava as well.
