Milići municipality is located in the eastern part of the Republic of Srpska and stretches over 285 sq km of hilly terrain, at the altitude of 250 to 1500 m. It is characterized by a moderate climate, abundance of greenery and clear mountain water. The area is known as a rich hunting ground with hunting facilities, while rivers Studeni Jadar and Zeleni Jadar as well as the nearby river Drina are rich in fish. These are important preconditions for intensive development of hunting and fishing tourism.
Although known for its mineral resources, Milici has got a significant potential in forests, rich but rare species such as Serbian spruce and yew, with Mt. Komić and Mt. Radava an oasis of peace and health within just 10 km from the centre of Milici. The town itself is rich with vegetation, sports facilities, summer theatre, pools, stylish restaurants etc. overlooking beautiful landscapes and a panorama of urban part of Milići.
